US Open Cup Round of 32: New York City FC at Westchester SC

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. — Westchester SC hosted New York City FC at Memorial Field on Tuesday night in the Round of 32 of the 2026 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. NYCFC opened the scoring through Agustín Ojeda, before Daniel Burko equalized for Westchester. Talles Magno restored NYCFC’s advantage from the penalty spot and added a second goal, while Arnau Farnós also scored to send NYCFC into halftime leading 4-1. Magno completed his hat trick in the second half. Westchester responded with a goal from Kyle Evans, but were unable to close the gap. NYCFC maintained control in the final minutes to secure a 5-2 win and advance to the Round of 16.
